It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#103)
It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.
And again a week where I read disappointingly little :-( Since I'll leave on Friday to visit my little sister in Portugal maybe I'll catch up a bit on the plane but after that, with the holidays and all the family events I doubt I will make progress in my TBR pile... Here is what I have read in the past week:
Books I completed
I only read the first novella in this anthology (Ruthie Knox's story), it was nice though I had some misgivings with the main couple having dragged their relationship on and off for more than 10 years, and all that heartache that brought to the heroine :-/ As soon as I'll read the remaining two novellas I'll post my review.
As soon as I glimpsed the holiday selection of Carina Press I was looking forward to reading , the contemporary romance anthology. This was the first of the 3 novellas in the book and the very first I read from HelenKay Dimon. I enjoyed it a lot and I'm sure I'll be reading more from her. My detailed review will be posted here soon (until then you can read it on Goodreads).
Book I'm currently reading
This is the second novella in Carina Press' contemporary romance anthology, and since I enjoyed Christi Barth's previous books I hope this will be a delightful romantic story :-)
Books I can't wait to start
- - Book Depository
I still have this one on my TBR pile, but hurry and get your free copy of one of Lisa Plumley's holiday story at Book Lovers Inc.
The remaining third novella in Carina Press's contemporary romance anthology, such a cute cover, I'm looking forward to reading it! :-)
And what are you reading this week?
ps. don't forget that the Let It Snow Books 2012 Event starts tomorrow with daily guest authors and lots of giveaways! Keep track of the day's events HERE.
