It's Monday, What Are you Reading? (#116)
It's Monday, What are you reading? is a weekly event hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books to list the books completed last week, the books currently being read and the books to be finished this week.
Hey Everyone,
It's been weeks (or maybe even months?) since I last put together an It's Monday... post, the new job and summer are to be blamed: with the new tasks during the day and then spending the nights out with friends my reading time has seriously decreased. And believe me, I missed being able to read freely :-( So thankfully this past week I was able to manage both and here are the books I have read last week:
Books I completed
Noone writes Latin passion like Diane Escalera, and her latest short novella is hot and features a steamy and playful seduction, my review will be posted later this week.
Another Harlequin novel where the title and cover do a disservice to the story. was a lovely engrossing story, I devoured it in one sitting and definitely want to read more from Sarah Morgan, really enjoyed her writing style. My review will be posted soon.
- - Book Depository
I love historical romances, but I tend to avoid Viking themed ones since I like my HR novels to be romantic and not feature too much bloodshed, violence and rape, and well Viking romances usually have these much more heavily than any HR set in another time period. But this one was a nice surprise, it was a captivating story with likeable characters and I really enjoyed it! My detailed review will be posted closer to release date.

is the 3rd novel in Jeanette Murray's Semper Fi series, and we see the conclusion to the trilogy. I have to confess that this book was the one I was least looking forward to as based on the previous books I disliked the heroine and doubted I could grow to like her. Well was a lovely surprise, and I really enjoyed the romance! :-) Detailed review will be posted soon.
Books I'm currently reading
I haven't read anything by Jade Lee yet, and although this is Book #2.5 in her Bridal Favors series so far it acts very well as a standalone novella.
Books I can't wait to start
