I love romances where sparks fly between the hero and heroine, and when I say sparks I mean due to their dueling of wits and sexy banter. And Rebecca Zanetti's new Entangled Brazen release, , looks just like that kind of book. So join Rebecca as she tells you a bit about her Maverick Montana series, its sexy heroes and what you can expect of , oh and of course there are some sweet giveaways as well! ;-)
First, thanks to Stella from Ex Libris for having me over today! It’s an honor to be here.
I think the best romances, either in books or movies, involve fun, sexy conflict. Think Hepburn and Tracy. So, in the first book of the Maverick Montana series, the hero is a lawyer who has to stop a golf course development in his home county, and the heroine is the golf course designer. Jake’s entire county, town, and family are counting on him to stop the development. Sophie’s family is counting on her to push the development through, because the designing firm (owned by her uncle) needs the job to stay in business.
It certainly doesn’t help that Jake and Sophie are instantly attracted to each other… in an explosive way—which is where got its name. So when they give in to that desire and yet still have to battle each other professionally, things get really interesting.
Book 2 is called , and it’ll be released next month. It features Quinn Lodge, the middle brother and sheriff in town.
The Maverick Montana series is about a family living and working in small-town Montana. They share and work a ranch while having other jobs that they also love. The oldest brother, Jake Lodge, is a tough-guy lawyer when he’s not breaking broncs. The middle brother, Quinn, is the sheriff, and the youngest brother is a financial wizard. Then the youngest member of the family is their sister, Dawn, and she’s still in college. Add in meddling family members, nosy town citizens, and people out of their elements…and I hope you have a fun, sexy read.
I think many of us these days try more than one career during our lifetimes because we have so many interests and opportunities these days. What do you think?
