The past couple of weeks we had a tropical climate with 34-36 C degrees, and yesterday it even went up to 43C in the sun during the midday hours! Let me tell you, this kind of temperature is highly unusual here, where the most we usually get is 30-32 C, so everyone is suffering and sweating a lot. Well I've spent my weekend making ice cream (except yesterday, when we went to the zoo with my sis :-): I've made mango coconut sherbet, minty watermelon popsicles, tricolor coconut-raspberry-mango frozen terrine, and my latest plan is to make these lavender peach sangria popsicles. (Just a warning though if you decide to make these recipes, I’ve found that the quantity of sugar written in them was way too much, I usually used about 1/3 of the original quantities.)
